Felder Stables is a full service training facility and riding academy specializing in the training, showing, breeding and sales of American Saddlebreds, Hackney Ponies, and Standardbred Roadhorses.

Our History:

As a young girl Terry started off riding Jumpers in Germany. She continued to ride jumpers all over the United States....however, in the summer of 1995, Terry discovered her true love...The American Saddlebred.

Rick started out working for some of the best Saddlebred trainers on the West Coast such as big brother Bill Felder, Bob Rice, Roy Register, and Rob Tanner. Training Morgan horses, Rick has developed many greats winning World or Reserve World's Championships.

Rick, Terry, and their children moved to the Carolinas in 2002 to be closer to Terry's family and in 2004 re-opened Felder Stables in Hartsville, SC. Growing to full capacity they are moving to G & I Broodmare Farm, Inc. in Raeford, NC. The move will allow Terry to rebuild a very good Academy Program and this wonderful facility will allow Rick to train and develop top quality show horses.
